Konjit is in pre-launch. Some features described here may not be available yet.
Version: 1.1, 4 October 2026
Summary in plain words
Konjit is run by Saqer Moon FZ-LLC, a company in the RAKEZ free zone, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Models build an AI likeness of themselves (a "clone") and license it to brands for product ads. Your face stays yours. A brand may only use your clone in an ad you approved, for the channels, places and time you agreed, and only after it has paid; we enforce this. You set your own price, you can block categories, you see every live ad, and you can stop all future use at any time. Every ad we release is labelled as AI. Political, adult, scam, misleading and medical-claim ads are never allowed. Brands pay your price plus a 20% Konjit fee; we do not take anything from your price. You must be 18 or older. These terms have three parts: Part A for everyone, Part B for models, Part C for brands.
Part A: Terms for everyone
A1. Who we are
- "Konjit", "we" and "us" means Saqer Moon FZ-LLC, RAKEZ free zone, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
- "You" means anyone who uses the Konjit app or website: models, brands and visitors.
- Contact: legal@kunjit.com.
A2. Key words
- Likeness: your face, body, look and anything that identifies you.
- Clone: the AI version of your likeness we build from your photos.
- Brief: a brand's request: product, idea, channels, territory, duration, exclusivity and price.
- Ad: the finished image or video made with a clone.
- Licence: the right to use one approved ad, for the agreed channels, territory and period.
- Kill switch: the model's button to stop all future use of their clone.
A3. Who can use Konjit
- You must be 18 or older. We do not accept models or brand users under 18.
- You must give true information and pass our identity checks.
- One account per person. Do not share your login.
- You may not use Konjit if you are subject to sanctions (see C9).
A4. How Konjit works
- A model verifies their identity, signs the model licence, and we build their clone.
- A brand sends a brief. The model accepts or declines.
- The brand uploads product photos and we make the ad. Previews are watermarked.
- The model reviews the finished ad and approves or rejects it.
- The brand pays. The clean ad is released with a visible AI label and a machine-readable AI tag.
- The ad may run only as licensed. The model sees it in their live dashboard.
A5. Rules for everyone (acceptable use)
Konjit may never be used for:
- Politics: elections, parties, candidates, government messaging, campaigning or political causes.
- Adult content: nudity, sexual content, or suggestive content involving the clone.
- Deception and scams: fake news, fake testimonials, fake reviews, fraud, phishing, "get rich quick", unlicensed financial or crypto offers.
- Health claims: claims that a product cures, treats or prevents illness, or weight-loss "miracle" claims, unless approved by the relevant authority and by the model in writing.
- Minors: content that targets, sexualises or depicts children in a harmful way, or ads for age-restricted products aimed at minors.
- Defamation and hate: content that insults, harasses or discriminates against a person or group, or damages someone's reputation with false claims.
- Impersonation and deepfakes: using a clone outside an approved ad; making the clone look or sound like another real person; presenting the clone as the real model saying or doing something they did not approve.
- Illegal products or activity in the country where the ad runs.
- In Ethiopia also: no alcohol ads for TV or radio; no ads for medicines, medical devices or food health claims without approval from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority; no ads showing a real child without written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Copying or extracting clones, face data or our technology (scraping, reverse engineering, training other AI on our content).
Models may also block extra categories (for example alcohol, gambling, religion, lingerie). Blocked briefs are refused automatically.
A6. AI labelling
- Every ad carries a visible "AI-generated" label and a machine-readable AI tag (IPTC) showing it was made with AI under a Konjit licence. We plan to add signed C2PA Content Credentials and will tell you when they start.
- No one may remove, hide, crop out or blur the label or the AI tag.
- We mark every ad in a machine-readable way in line with Article 50(2) of the EU AI Act and the EU Code of Practice, and follow fair-advertising rules.
A7. Reporting misuse and takedowns
- Anyone can report misuse of a face with the report form on our safety page, at report@kunjit.com, or with the in-app report button. A person on our team checks reports every day.
- We review reports within 2 business days, or sooner for safety. We can pause the ad, require the brand to remove it, and suspend accounts.
- If you find your face used without a Konjit licence, tell us. We will help you with a takedown request.
A8. Your content and our platform
- Models own their likeness. Brands own their products, logos and photos.
- Konjit owns the app, website and technology. We give you a limited right to use them under these terms.
- You give us only the rights we need to run the service, as set out in Parts B and C.
A9. Privacy
- How we handle personal and biometric data is explained in the Konjit Privacy Notice.
- Some data is processed by carefully selected technology and payment providers, some outside Ethiopia and the UAE. We do this only with the safeguards and approvals the law requires.
A10. Suspension and termination
- You can close your account at any time.
- We can suspend or close an account if you break these terms, the law, or put others at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why and let you respond.
- What happens to live ads when an account closes is set out in B8 and C7.
A11. Liability
- Except as promised to models in Part B, Konjit is provided "as is" during pre-launch. AI output can have flaws; that is why models and brands review every ad.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example fraud or deliberate misconduct).
- Other liability limits are in B13 and C8.
A12. Changes to these terms
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of important changes in the app and by email.
- Changes never reduce rights under licences already approved.
- If you do not agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
A13. Law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
- First, contact us. We will try to resolve any problem within 30 days.
- If that fails, disputes go to arbitration under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), one arbitrator, seated in Dubai, in English (Amharic interpretation available).
- If you are a model living in Ethiopia: (a) you may bring any claim in the courts of Addis Ababa or in arbitration; (b) Konjit will bring any claim against you only in the courts of Addis Ababa; (c) in any arbitration with a model, Konjit pays all DIAC and arbitrator fees; (d) nothing here removes rights under Ethiopian law that cannot be waived, including under Proclamation 1321/2024 and Civil Code Article 27.
- Either side can ask a court for urgent orders to stop misuse of a likeness.
A14. Language
These terms are in English and Amharic. Both are meant to say the same thing. If the two versions differ, the meaning that is more favourable to the model applies in any question between a model and Konjit or a brand. In all other cases the English version applies.
A15. Launch offers
- Founding model offer: the first 20 models who pass verification get a free verification photo shoot, a featured spot on the homepage for their first 6 months, and a Founding model badge. Models never pay a platform fee; the brand pays the 20% fee on top of your price.
- Launch brand offer: brands get a free sample set made with our sample products and one free live try with their own product. Brands that join during launch keep the 20% fee for their first 12 months.
- Offers are limited, cannot be exchanged for cash and do not change the rest of these terms. The launch period runs until 31 December 2026 or until 20 founding models are approved, whichever comes first. Founding spots go to the first 20 models we approve, in the order we approve them; signing up does not reserve a spot.
A16. Rewards
- Rewards on Konjit (credit pack bonuses, brand invite rewards, brand tier benefits, the model referral reward and the Founding model badge) are paid for by Konjit from its own margin. A reward never reduces what a model is paid.
- Every reward is recorded in your account. We only show a reward once it has actually been earned.
- Rewards may expire. Bonus and reward credits expire 12 months after they are added. Tiers are worked out on a rolling 12 months and can go down.
- Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, except the model referral reward, which is paid with your other earnings (B11). We may cancel rewards obtained by abuse, for example by inviting your own second account.
Part B: Model Likeness Licence
Summary in plain words
You give Konjit permission to build your clone and to show it to brands. You do not give anyone a general right to use your face. Each ad needs your yes twice: once for the brief and once for the finished ad. You set the price. Licences last 1, 3 or 12 months at most and never renew without you. You can stop all future use at any time. You get 100% of your price; the brand pays our fee on top.
B1. Verification and signing
- You verify with a live selfie and a photo of your ID (Fayda, kebele ID or passport), checked by a person on our team before approval. An in-person check may be offered instead.
- You sign this licence by typing your name; we record the time, the version and a fingerprint of the text. You get a copy.
- You confirm you are 18 or older and that no other contract (for example with an agency) stops you from licensing your likeness. If an agency represents you, tell us.
B2. What you allow Konjit to do
- Use your photos and selfies to build and store your clone.
- Show your profile and watermarked previews to verified brands.
- Make ads from briefs you accept, and send them to you for approval.
- That is all. We will not use your clone for anything else, sell it, or give the clone itself to brands.
B3. What stays yours
- You keep all rights in your likeness. Konjit owns no part of your face.
- Your permission is not exclusive unless you agree to an exclusive licence for a brief.
B4. Two approvals for every ad
- Brief approval: you see the brand, product, idea, channels, territory, duration, exclusivity and price. Accept or decline. No reason needed.
- Final ad approval: you see the finished ad before it is released. Approve or reject. We never release a rejected ad.
- If you reject, pick a reason (for example face, pose, styling or product) so the next version fits you better. You never pay anything for rejecting an ad. Models who reject most of their ads may be shown lower in search; we tell you before that happens.
B5. Your prices
- You set your own price for each channel (social, digital, TV/outdoor), territory and duration (1, 3 or 12 months). Exclusivity costs 1.5x your price.
- A minimum price may apply so models are not undercut.
- Konjit adds a 20% fee paid by the brand. We take nothing from your price.
B6. Your controls
- Blocked categories: choose what you never want (for example alcohol, gambling, religion, lingerie). Political and adult ads are blocked for everyone.
- Live dashboard: see every live ad, the channels, territory and end date it is licensed for.
- Kill switch: stops all new briefs, ads and renewals at once.
B7. Kill switch and live ads
- Ads already paid for may keep running until their licence ends. We never renew them.
- For a serious reason you can ask us to take a live ad down early, for example: the ad is misused or changed; it breaks these terms; it puts your safety at risk; or the brand has been involved in a public scandal. For safety reasons we decide within 2 business days, and online removal then happens within 24 hours. For other reasons, if we agree, the brand must remove it within 3 days (online and social) or 14 days (TV and outdoor), and gets a pro-rata refund of the unused period. If the takedown is because of something the brand did (misuse, a change to the ad, a breach of these terms, or a scandal involving the brand), there is no refund. If it is for your safety and the brand did nothing wrong, Konjit pays the refund; it is never taken from your past earnings.
- If the ad is used outside the licence, it is not covered at all and we will act against the brand.
- A court or regulator order to stop an ad is always a lawful takedown.
B8. Leaving Konjit
- You can close your account at any time. The kill switch applies at once.
- Live paid licences run to their end date (or end early under B7).
- When you use the kill switch, close your account or withdraw consent, we delete your clone and face data within 30 days. Finished approved ads are kept only as needed for live licences. We keep what the law requires (for example contract and payment records) and the signed licence records to prove consent.
- If a model dies, all licences end at their end date and no new use is allowed without written consent from the legal heirs.
B9. House campaigns (optional)
- Konjit may want to use your clone in ads for its own products. This is a separate opt-in, off by default. Joining Konjit does not depend on it.
- Each house ad still needs your brief and final ad approval, and pays a fixed house rate shown before you opt in, plus promotion on Konjit channels.
- You can switch it off at any time.
B10. AI training (optional)
- We never use your face data to train general AI models unless you turn on a separate opt-in. It is off by default and you can turn it off at any time.
B11. Payouts and taxes
- You receive your price after the brand has paid and the ad is released, minus only payout transfer fees shown before you withdraw.
- Payouts go to a bank account or mobile money wallet in your own verified name. Changing payout details needs a new live selfie check, and payouts pause for 48 hours for your security.
- You are responsible for your own income tax. Before your first payout we will tell you whether tax is withheld and at what rate, and we give you a receipt and an annual earnings statement. We may ask for your TIN.
- Where our payment provider allows it, your price is paid straight to your own payout account and our fee is invoiced to the brand separately.
- Earnings wallet. Your account shows a statement of your earnings: amounts pending (an ad ordered but not yet paid, or a reward waiting for its condition), amounts we owe you, and payouts made. It is a statement of what Konjit owes you, not a bank account or stored value: you cannot spend it, top it up or send it to anyone.
- Weekly payouts in birr to the Telebirr, CBE Birr or bank account you give us, in your own name. A person on our team sends each payout and records its reference in your account.
- Model referral reward: when a model who applied with your link is approved and has a first published ad, we add ETB 500 to your earnings, paid from our commission. Until then it shows as pending.
- If a brand's payment is reversed after you have been paid, you keep the money; Konjit deals with the brand.
B12. Your promises
- The photos you upload are of you, recent and not edited to look like someone else.
- You will not use Konjit to harm a brand (for example by approving an ad and then making false claims about it).
B13. Liability towards models
- You are not responsible for a brand's product, its claims, or how a brand uses an ad. Brands cover that (see C8).
- Konjit is responsible to you for losses caused by our own breach of this licence or misuse of your data, as the law allows. There is no limit on this for misuse of your likeness or your personal data by Konjit or our providers. For anything else, our total liability to you is limited to the higher of ETB 100,000 or what you earned through Konjit in the 12 months before the claim.
Part C: Brand Licence Terms
Summary in plain words
You can license an approved model's AI likeness for your product ads. You get the right to use one approved ad, in the channels, territory and time you paid for. You never get the clone itself. You pay the model's price plus a 20% Konjit fee, plus any taxes. You must keep the AI label, follow the content rules, and remove the ad if a lawful takedown applies. You are responsible for your product and your claims. International brands pay in their own currency and handle their own taxes.
C1. Who can be a brand
- A registered business, verified with company documents (trade licence, tax number) and an ID and live selfie of the representative.
- The representative must have authority to bind the business.
C2. What you get
- A licence to use the approved ad for the channels, territory and period in the brief.
- Non-exclusive, unless you paid for exclusivity (exclusive = no competing brand in the same product category may use that model in the same territory for the licence period).
- Not included: the clone, the model's face data, edits that change the meaning of the ad, use in other ads, new channels or territories, use after the end date, or sublicensing (except to your ad agency and media buyers working for you, who must follow these terms).
- Small technical changes (resizing, cropping that keeps the label, translating your own product text) are allowed.
C3. Your product photos
- You confirm you own or have permission to use the product photos, logos and text you upload.
- You give Konjit the right to use them only to make your ads.
- You may not upload photos of identifiable other people, or of any child, without their written consent (a parent's or guardian's for a child).
- Previews are watermarked and may not be used until paid.
C4. Your promises about ads
- Your product is legal where the ad runs, and your claims are true and can be backed up.
- You follow advertising and consumer laws where the ad runs, including disclosure rules for endorsements.
- You will not present the clone as a real customer or say the model personally uses your product unless that is true.
- You keep the AI label and the machine-readable AI tag on every copy. Removing either is a material breach.
- You follow Part A rules (A5) at all times.
C5. Prices, payment and currency
- You pay the model's price plus a 20% Konjit fee, before the clean ad is released.
- You also pay a creative fee for each ad when you order it: ETB 3,000 (or USD 25 for international brands). It covers making the ad and includes 5 rounds; each round shows 3 different styles to choose from, so the brand and the model can pick a look they are both happy with. Each extra round costs ETB 1,000 (USD 8). The creative fee pays for work already done, so it is not refunded, even if the model rejects the ad.
- Ethiopian brands pay in Ethiopian birr. International brands pay in US dollars or another currency we offer; the price is shown in that currency at checkout. Currency conversion and bank fees are yours.
- All payments go through licensed payment providers.
C6. Taxes (all brands, especially international)
- Prices do not include taxes. You pay all taxes, including VAT, sales tax, digital services tax and duties.
- If you must withhold tax, you must gross up the payment so the model and Konjit receive the full amounts, and give us the tax receipts. Where the model is paid directly, withholding applies only to Konjit's fee invoice.
C7. Refunds, chargebacks, takedowns and ending
- A court or regulator order to stop an ad is a lawful takedown; you have no claim against the model for it.
- Before release: if the model rejects the final ad, you get a full refund of the model's price and the 20% fee, or can ask for a new version. The creative fee (C5) is not refunded.
- After release: no refund, except for a takedown under B7 (pro-rata refund of unused time) or if Konjit failed to deliver.
- Chargebacks: do not open a chargeback without first contacting us. If a payment is reversed, your licence ends at once and you must stop using the ad. Unfair chargebacks can lead to account closure and recovery of costs.
- Takedown: if a lawful takedown applies (B7, a court order, or breach of these terms), you must remove the ad within the stated time.
- At the end of the licence, stop running the ad. You may keep archive copies for your records and legal needs only.
- If your account closes, licences you already paid for continue unless you broke these terms.
C8. Liability and indemnity
- You indemnify (defend and pay for) the model and Konjit against claims, fines and losses caused by your product, your claims, your materials, or your use of an ad outside the licence or these terms.
- Konjit's total liability to a brand is limited to the fees you paid Konjit in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. These limits do not apply to fraud or where the law forbids them.
- The model is not liable to you, except for their own fraud or deliberate misconduct.
C9. Sanctions and export rules
- You confirm that you, your owners and your business are not on any sanctions list (including UN, UAE, US, EU and UK lists), and that you will not run ads in, or for people in, sanctioned countries.
- You follow anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering and export laws. We may screen you and refuse or stop service if needed.
C10. International brands: data and law
- If your ad reaches people in the EU, you must clearly disclose it as AI-generated at first exposure (EU AI Act Article 50(4)). Removing our label or tag is a material breach.
- You are responsible for any local approvals your ad needs (for example for regulated products).
- Part A13 (law and disputes) applies to you. For brands, these terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and disputes are settled by arbitration at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), seated in Dubai, in English, by one arbitrator.
C11. Confidentiality
- Keep the model's personal details and our pricing information private. Use them only for your licensed ads.
C12. Konjit Credits
- You can prepay with Konjit Credits. Credits are counted in birr: 1 credit pays ETB 1 on Konjit.
- Credits are closed-loop. They can only be used to pay for licences, creative fees and extra rounds on Konjit. They cannot be cashed out, refunded as money, sold or transferred to anyone else, and they earn no interest.
- Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Any credits left then expire, and your account shows it.
- Bonus credits (pack bonuses and rewards) only pay creative fees and extra rounds. They never pay a model's price or our commission, because that money is owed to the model. When you pay a creative fee, bonus credits are used first.
- If part of an order paid with credits is refunded under C7, it comes back to you as credits, not cash.
- Tiers depend on what you paid for credits in the last 12 months: Silver from ETB 150,000 (saved styles and priority in the creative queue) and Gold from ETB 500,000 (creative fee ETB 2,500 or USD 20 per ad and a personal contact). We may change tier benefits with notice.
- Brand invites: when a brand you invite makes its first credit purchase, you both get one free creative round (ETB 1,000) as bonus credits. One reward per invited brand.
- Until online payments open, credits bought by bank transfer are added to your account by our team.
C13. Renewals and monthly plans
- Renewals. A licence ends on its end date (C2). Before then you can renew it for the same channels, territory and length. A renewal costs the model's price plus our commission at the time of renewal, with no new creative fee, and starts when the current licence ends. The model may decline a renewal, as with any new use of their likeness. We may remind you before a licence ends.
- Monthly plans. You can agree a monthly plan with us: a set number of ads each month for one monthly fee, which covers the creative fees of those ads. The standard plan is 8 ads a month with the creative fee 10% lower than buying ads one at a time. The model's price and our commission are added to each ad as usual, and every ad still needs the model's approval (B4).
- Plan fees are paid monthly in advance. Ads you don't use in a month don't carry over, and they are not refunded. You can cancel any month before your next payment date; the plan then stops at the end of the month you paid for.
- Until online payments open, renewals and plan fees are paid by bank transfer and recorded by our team.
